Sign up Process

  1. Visit the Atto sign-up page: http://dashboard.attotime.com
  2. Click the “Try for Free” button
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Confirm your email and click the "Create Account" button.
  5. Complete your registration: Fill in your full name, company name, industry, and create a secure password.

Your Free Trial:

  • Your 2-week free trial starts as soon as you sign up. This is your chance to explore all Atto's features and see how it fits your needs.
  • During your trial, you can add your entire team without any limits. Invite them via email or share your unique account link.
  • Take this time to discover Atto's user-friendly interface, test its various time tracking features, and see how it integrates seamlessly into your daily operations.

What Happens Next:

  • At the end of your trial, time tracking will be paused temporarily. However, all your data will be safely stored and readily available if you decide to continue using Atto.

2. Adding Your Team Members:

There are two ways to add team members:

By Email:

  1. Go to Settings > Invite New Members.
  2. Enter the team member's email address.
  3. Tap Send Invites.
  4. The team member will receive an email with instructions to join your Atto account.

By Link:

  1. Go to Settings > Invite New Members.
  2. Tap Share your invite link...
  3. Share the link with your desired team members.
  4. Team members will be prompted to enter their email address and create an account to join your team.

3. Customizing Your Account Settings:

Atto allows you to personalize your account settings to perfectly match your company's workflow. Here's a breakdown of key settings:

Location Tracking:

  • While on the Clock: Track location continuously while clocked in, providing detailed insights into employee movement and project sites.
  • On Clock In/Out Only: Track location only during clock in and clock out events, ensuring accurate timekeeping while minimizing data collection.
  • Never: Opt for no location tracking if it doesn't align with your company's needs or employee preferences.

Workweek & Overtime:

  • Regular Weekly Hours: Define the standard weekly hours for full-time and part-time employees to clearly differentiate regular from overtime work.
  • Daily Overtime: Set a daily threshold for overtime hours, defining when overtime pay kicks in.
  • Daily Double Overtime: Establish a separate threshold for double overtime, ensuring appropriate compensation for extended work periods.
  • Overtime Rate Multipliers: Define specific multipliers applied to overtime hours to calculate accurate pay.

Timesheet Reporting:

Time Options:

Break Options:

  • Manual Break Tracking: Empower employees to manually track their break hours, offering flexibility and individual control.
  • Automatic Break Tracking: Automatically deduct predefined break durations from daily timesheets, ensuring consistent break time across the team.
  • Custom Break Tracking: Define and categorize various types of breaks, providing detailed insights into break usage and optimizing workflow efficiency.
  • Paid/Unpaid Breaks: Specify whether breaks are categorized as paid or unpaid, ensuring accurate payroll calculations and reflecting company policies.

4. Setting User Roles and Pay Rates:

User Roles:

  • Admin: Highest level, grants full access to all features, data, and settings, including adding and removing users, managing accounts, and customizing settings.
  • Manager: Manages their own timesheets and team members' timesheets, tracks project progress, and accesses reports and insights.
  • Employee: Tracks their own time, reviews their timesheets, and manages personal settings.

Setting Roles:

  1. Go to Settings > Manage Team.
  2. Select the team member.
  3. Choose the desired role from the dropdown menu.
  4. Save changes.

Adding Pay Rates:

To ensure accurate payroll calculations, follow these steps to set payrates for individual team members:

  1. Go to Settings > Manage Team.
  2. Select the team member.
  3. Enable "Pay Rate."
  4. Click Add Pay Rate.
  5. Enter the hourly rate and effective date.
  6. Click Save or Add Pay Rate to confirm.
