Staying Updated: Time Off Request Notifications

Atto keeps your team informed with real-time notifications related to time off requests. Whether you’re requesting time off or managing approvals, notifications ensure you never miss an update.


When Are Notifications Sent?

Atto notifies employees, managers, and admins at key moments:

For Admins & Managers:

  • New Request Submitted – Get notified when a team member submits a time off request that needs review.

For Employees:

  • Approved or Rejected – Receive confirmation as soon as your request is reviewed.

  • Canceled Request – If your approved request is canceled by an admin, you’ll be notified.

Note: Only approved requests can be canceled by an admin. Pending requests must be either approved or rejected.


Where Do Notifications Appear?

Notifications are sent as push alerts from the Atto app. If you’re not receiving them:

  1. In the Atto App:

    Go to Settings > Notifications > Time Off and make sure alerts are enabled.

  2. In Your Device Settings:

    Confirm that push notifications are turned on for the Atto app.


How to Manage Notification Settings


All users can control their own time off notification preferences:

  • Open Settings > Notifications in the Atto app.

  • Tap Time Off to enable or disable alerts.

  • For push alerts to work, double-check that app notifications are enabled at the device level.
