Auto Time Clock is available on Atto's Advanced plan and works in the Atto mobile app on both iOS and Android.
How It Works
When Auto Time Clock is active, Atto uses the job site's map pin and radius to detect when a team member arrives or leaves. The radius controls how far around the pin Atto considers someone to be at the job site.
A team member arrives: Atto detects that they entered an assigned job site and automatically clocks them in.
Their time is tracked: Atto records their work time while they remain clocked in.
The team member leaves: After their device detects that they have left the job site, Atto automatically clocks them out and calculates their total hours.
Auto Time Clock creates a regular time card automatically. The time card includes the recorded times and location details, and an Auto tag identifies whether the clock-in, clock-out, or both were completed automatically.
Customize Auto Time Clock for Your Team
Admins can:
choose the days when Auto Time Clock is active
apply it to the entire team or exclude specific team members
assign all or selected job sites to each team member
record travel time between job sites
use Clock Out Only Mode when clock-ins should remain manual

Before You Begin
To use Auto Time Clock:
your company must be on Atto's Advanced plan
team members must use the Atto mobile app on iOS or Android
Auto Time Clock must be enabled for the company
at least one job site must be added before automatic clocking can begin
if Manage Users & Job Sites is turned on, the team member must be included and the relevant job site must be available to them
location access for Atto must be set to Always on the team member's device
Setting location access to Always lets Auto Time Clock work in the background when the app is closed or the phone is locked.
If a Team Member Leaves Within 10 Minutes
If a team member leaves a job site within 10 minutes of being automatically clocked in, Atto removes the time card and does not save it to reports. This prevents short visits or instances where a team member is simply passing by a job site on a non-working day from being recorded as work time.
If they return after the time card has been removed, Atto creates a new time card. The removed time card is not restored.
