Before You Start
Confirm that your company is on the Advanced plan.
Let your team know that location access for Atto must be set to Always on their mobile devices.
Turn On Auto Time Clock
Open the Atto mobile app.
Go to Settings.
Select Auto Time Clock.
Turn on Activate.
Once activated, all users on the account receive a notification letting them know that Auto Time Clock is active.
Finish Setting It Up
After activation, review the following settings:
Job Sites: If you see Job Sites Required, select Add Job Sites and add the locations where your team should be automatically clocked in and out.
Travel Tracking Options: Use Log Travel Time to choose whether Atto should record travel between job sites.
Active Days: Choose the days when Auto Time Clock should run.
Clock Out Only Mode: Turn this on if team members should clock in manually and be clocked out automatically.
Custom Rules & Assignments: Use Manage Users & Job Sites to choose which team members and job sites should use Auto Time Clock.
Note: Check each job site's map pin and radius carefully. The radius sets how far around the pin Atto counts a team member as being at the job site.

You can add more job sites or change team member assignments at any time from Settings > Auto Time Clock.
How to Turn Off Auto Time Clock
To stop automatic time tracking, return to Settings > Auto Time Clock and turn off Automatic Clock In/Out.
When the feature is disabled:
automatic clock-ins and clock-outs stop for the company
existing timesheets remain available
team members can continue clocking in and out manually
all users receive a notification that Auto Time Clock has been disabled
Why Auto Time Clock Turns Off Mileage Tracking
After Auto Time Clock clocks a team member out, Atto stops tracking their location. Mileage Tracking needs location to continue recording the drive after the team member leaves, so the two features cannot work at the same time.
If you turn on Auto Time Clock, Mileage Tracking is turned off - and vice versa.
