Reporting on Time Off Requests

Updated this week

Atto’s Time Off Reports help admins and managers monitor leave usage, identify trends, and ensure accurate payroll records. Whether you’re checking upcoming time off or exporting data for compliance, everything is centralized and easy to access.

How to Track Approved Time Off

To view approved leave entries:

  1. Go to Reports > Time Off

Here you’ll find a detailed breakdown of time off activity:

  • Total Hours – Displays the total approved leave hours within the selected period.

  • Time Off Types – Organizes entries by type (e.g., Vacation, Sick Leave).

  • Paid vs. Unpaid Time Off:

    • Paid Time Off – Includes total hours, estimated pay, and associated time off code.

    • Unpaid Time Off – Displays total hours and leave type.

  • Employee Selection – Use the Members list to view data for individual employees.

Note: The Time Off Report only shows approved requests. For pending, rejected, or expired requests, refer to the Time Off Requests section.

Reviewing All Time Off Requests

To monitor every submitted request, go to:

  • Dashboard > Time Off

This section includes requests in all statuses:

  • Pending – Awaiting approval

  • Approved – Already added to reports and timesheets

  • Rejected – Declined by an admin or manager

  • Expired – Requests that were not approved before the start date

Using Filters for Better Reporting

Use filters to find specific records quickly:

  • By Employee – Review time off history by individual team member

  • By Status – Narrow down by approval state

  • By Date Range – View requests submitted or scheduled within a custom time period

Tip: Combine filters (e.g., Approved + specific employee + date range) to generate focused reports for payroll or internal planning.
