Managing time off codes in Atto ensures your team’s absences are recorded accurately, categorized correctly, and aligned with company policies. Atto makes it easy to set this up in just a few steps.
Default Time Off Codes
Atto includes the following built-in codes by default:
Vacation
Sick Time
Personal Leave
These codes are automatically available to all users and can be used without additional setup.
How to Add a New Time Off Code
Go to Settings > Time Off Preferences
Click “Add Time Off Code”
Enter a name for your new time off code
Choose the type:
Paid
Unpaid
Click “Add Time Off Code” to save
Using Time Off Codes in Atto
Time off codes are used when:
Submitting time off requests (by employees)
Adding time off manually (by managers or admins)
| 📌 Note: If the Time Off Requests feature is enabled, manual entry is disabled to ensure centralized tracking and approvals.
