In Atto, managing and publishing shifts allows managers to create a reliable, visible schedule for the team. This process ensures that shifts are correctly reviewed, finalized, and accessible to everyone once published.
Draft Mode vs. Published Shifts
When shifts are first created, they remain in Draft mode by default. In Draft mode:
-
Shifts are visible only to managers and admins, allowing for last-minute adjustments before employees can see them.
-
Shift details can be reviewed to ensure accuracy and check for any scheduling conflicts, such as overlapping shifts or time-off requests.
Publishing Shifts
Once shifts are finalized:
-
Tap “Publish Shifts”: When ready, select this option to make the schedule visible to the team.
-
Send Notifications: Upon publishing, employees receive notifications about new or updated shifts, ensuring they are informed of their responsibilities. This keeps everyone aligned and reduces the chance of missed shifts.
Editing or Removing Published Shifts
Managers can edit or delete shifts even after publishing, which will trigger updated notifications to affected employees. This flexibility is helpful when handling last-minute changes or unexpected adjustments.
Managing and publishing shifts in Atto is streamlined to provide managers with control and flexibility, while keeping the team informed and on schedule.
