If you’re experiencing issues with mileage tracking in Atto, follow these steps to ensure that everything is set up correctly:
1. Enable Mileage Tracking
As the account admin, make sure that Mileage Tracking is enabled on your account's settings. To confirm:
- Open the Atto app on your mobile device.
- Navigate to Settings > Mileage Tracking.
- Ensure the feature is toggled on.
2. Check Device Location Permissions
To allow Atto to track your mileage even in the background, ensure that your device’s location permissions are correctly set:
- For iOS: Open the device's Settings app > Scroll down and select Atto > Tap Location > Select Always.
- For Android: Open the device's Settings app > Tap Apps or Apps & notifications > Select Atto > Tap Permissions > Tap Location > Select Allow all the time.
3. Enable Precise Location Tracking Mode
For accurate mileage tracking and drive detection, you need to ensure that precise location tracking mode permissions are enabled for Atto:
- For iOS: Open the device's Settings app > Scroll down and select Atto > Tap Location > Toggle Precise Location to ON.
- For Android: Open the device's Settings app > Tap Apps or Apps & notifications > Select Atto > Tap Permissions > Ensure Use precise location or Precise location toggle is turned ON.
4. Enable Motion and Activity Permissions
To accurately record movements, ensure that motion and activity permissions are enabled on your device:
- For iOS: Open the device's Settings app > Scroll down and select Atto > Toggle on Motion & Fitness.
- For Android: Open the device's Settings app > Tap Apps or Apps & notifications > Select Atto > Tap Permissions > Select Physical Activity > Toggle the permission to Allow.
