At Atto, we provide two main payroll processing timelines:
- 4-Day Processing: This is the default processing period for all new companies at Atto.
- 2-Day Processing: Available to companies that meet specific criteria for a quicker processing period.
Approval Deadlines
To maintain a smooth payroll cycle, it’s important to understand when to submit your payroll:
- 4-Day Processing (Default for New Companies):
- Deadline: Payroll must be submitted at least four business days before payday.
- Example: If your payday is on Friday, payroll must be submitted by 5 PM on Monday.
- 2-Day Processing:
- Deadline: Payroll must be submitted at least two business days before payday.
- Example: If your payday is on Friday, payroll must be submitted by the close of business on Wednesday.
Qualifying for 2-Day Processing
To qualify for 2-day processing, your business must meet one of the following criteria:
- Consistent Payroll Processing: You must have processed your payroll 10 times consecutively without any interruptions.
- Financial Transparency: You are required to submit your Balance Sheet to Atto for review.
