Atto will file your company's annual taxes. Atto Payroll uses the information in your account to pay and file taxes early in the new year. There are a few things you should keep in mind at year-end and tax season when using Atto:
-
Review your tax information. Atto will ask you a series of questions to help prepare and file your tax documents. Be sure to answer these questions carefully.
-
Fill in any missing details. If Atto notes that anything is missing while reviewing your company's tax information, you will receive an email with next steps. Follow the instructions in the email to update your Atto account.
-
Atto will distribute tax forms to your team in January. Once taxes have been filed, Atto will create W-2s and 1099s for each employee and contractor that you paid through Atto in the previous calendar year. Employees and contractors can access these forms directly in their Atto account. You can download and distribute the forms directly, or you can have Atto mail the forms to your team.
