Atto offers a variety of options for handling deductions, benefits, and garnishments.

Deductions

Atto allows you to set up a variety of deductions for your employees, including:

  • Pre-tax deductions: Pre-tax deductions are deductions that are taken out of an employee's paycheck before taxes are calculated. This can save employees money on their taxes. Some examples of pre-tax deductions include health insurance premiums, 401(k) contributions, and child support payments.

  • Post-tax deductions: Post-tax deductions are deductions that are taken out of an employee's paycheck after taxes are calculated. Some examples of post-tax deductions include union dues, parking fees, and charitable contributions.

Garnishments

Atto can help you to process garnishments from your employees' paychecks. Garnishments are court-ordered deductions that are taken out of an employee's paycheck to pay off debts, such as child support, student loans, and back taxes.
