Preventing Clock-Ins Outside of Job Sites

To ensure accurate and secure time tracking, Atto offers a Clock In Restrictions setting. When enabled, this feature only allows team members to clock in when they are physically located within a designated job site.


How to Enable Clock In Restrictions

  1. Go to Settings > Job Sites

  2. Locate the “Clock In Restrictions” option

  3. Toggle it ON to activate the restriction


How It Works

  • When Clock In Restrictions are enabled, team members cannot clock in unless they are physically located within a predefined job site radius

  • To set up job sites, refer to: Adding & Managing Job Sites


Clock-Out Flexibility

Even with Clock In Restrictions enabled, team members can still clock out from outside a job site.

  • This is useful in situations where they leave the site unexpectedly

  • The location of the clock-out will still be recorded and viewable by admins
