How to import new employees from QuickBooks Online

You can easily add new employees to your QuickBooks Online & Atto integration and sync their timesheets through our simple 2-step process.

If you invite employees through Atto, they won’t be added to QuickBooks Online. Instead, please add or edit employees on QuickBooks Online first, then import them to Atto by following the steps below:

  1. In the web app, click on the QuickBooks Online logo, found in the header menu
  2. From the dropdown, select Import
  3. Under match to Atto:
    3.1. Select the employee from the dropdown, or 
    3.2. Click on Invite Employee and enter their email address to send them an invite to join your Atto account
  4. Click on Import
