Creating and Managing Job Codes

Atto's job code feature empowers you to categorize your work time effectively, providing valuable insights into how you and your team spend their time. This guide will walk you through the steps involved in managing job codes, ensuring accurate and organized time tracking.

Adding a New Job Code:

  1. Go to Settings > Job Codes.
  2. Click on "Add Job Code."
  3. Enter a name for the new job code.
  4. Click "Add" to save.

Deleting a Job Code:

  1. Go to Settings > Job Codes.
  2. On mobile, tap on "Edit" and delete unwanted job codes from the list.

Note: Deleted job codes will still be reflected in team members' time cards and reports for previous periods.

Editing a Job Code:

  1. Go to Settings > Job Codes.
  2. Click on "Edit" or the pen icon.
  3. Edit the job code's name.
  4. Click "Done" or "Save Changes."

Note: The job code name will be updated in all existing time cards associated with that code.

Enabling Job Code Requirement on Clock In:

  1. Go to Settings > Job Codes.
  2. Turn “Require Jobs on Clock In” ON to ensure users select a job code as soon as they clock in.

By enabling this feature, users will be prompted to select a job code immediately upon clocking in, ensuring that all tracked time is accurately categorized and associated with the appropriate work activities.
