Viewing Auto Time Clock Activity, Timesheets, and Reports

Auto Time Clock creates the same type of time card as a manual clock-in. The difference is that Atto creates the entry automatically and marks the automatic clock-in or clock-out with an Auto tag.

Where to View Auto Time Clock Details

When Auto Time Clock clocks you in, open Time Clock to view your current hours. An information note shows the job site and the time when you were automatically clocked in.

You can open Reports to view the time card created for the visit. Its details include the recorded clock-in and clock-out times and available location information. An Auto tag appears beside the clock-in, clock-out, or both, depending on which actions Atto completed automatically.

Admins and Managers can also use Reports to review team members' automatic time cards or follow their clock activity from Activity. The Activity timeline identifies clock-ins and clock-outs completed by Auto Time Clock. Team activity in Activity is available only to Admins and Managers; each team member uses Time Clock to view their own current hours.

Review Timesheets

Automatic time cards include:

  • clock-in and clock-out times

  • total hours

  • job site and location information

  • an Auto tag beside each action completed automatically

When Timesheet Approval is enabled, automatic time cards follow the same review and approval process as manually created time cards.

Historical Time Cards

Turning off Auto Time Clock does not change time cards or timesheets that were already created.

If a job site is deleted, existing time cards keep their location data and show the street address instead of the deleted job site name.
