Changing Team Member's Pay Rate

Atto makes it easy to manage pay rates for your team. Whether you’re updating hourly rates or assigning job-specific rates, everything is tracked clearly for accurate payroll.


Default Pay Rate (Web & Mobile)

You can set a default hourly rate for each team member using either the web or mobile app.

On Mobile:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Tap Pay Rate

  3. Select the team member

  4. Enable Pay Rate

  5. Tap + Add Default Pay Rate, enter the hourly rate and effective date, then tap Add Pay Rate

| You’ll see a list of all active default pay rates with their effective dates.

On Web:

  1. Go to Settings > Manage Team

  2. Select the team member

  3. Enable the Pay Rate toggle

  4. Click Add Pay Rate, then set the rate and effective date

📌 Note: You must assign a default pay rate before adding job-specific rates.


Job-Specific Pay Rates (Mobile Only)

Job-specific pay rates can currently be added only from the mobile app.

To assign a Job Pay Rate:

  1. Go to the member’s Pay Rate settings

  2. Tap Add Job Pay Rate

  3. Select a Job Code, enter the hourly rate and effective date

  4. Tap Add Pay Rate to save

Each job-specific rate will be listed with the job code, hourly rate, and effective date.


Editing or Removing Pay Rates

  • Edit a Rate:

    Click on an existing rate to update details, then hit Save.

  • Delete a Rate:

    Select the rate and click Delete Pay Rate or Delete Job Pay Rate as needed.


Important Notes

  • Admin Visibility: Admins cannot view each other’s pay rates.

  • Default Required: A default pay rate must be set before adding job-specific rates.

  • Effective Dates: Job codes cannot share the same effective date.
