Admins and Managers can clock in or out on behalf of their team members when needed — whether due to technical issues, missed actions, or special circumstances. This ensures accurate time tracking and avoids gaps in work hours.
How to Clock In/Out for a Team Member
From the web:
Open the Atto web app.
From the left-hand menu, click Activity to open the Team Activity tab.
From the mobile app:
Open the Atto mobile app.
Tap Dashboard at the bottom of your screen.
Tap Team Activity at the top of the dashboard.
Once the Team Activity tab is open, you’ll see a list of all team members along with their current status — such as On the Clock, On Break, Clocked Out or Not Active.
Updating a Team Member’s Status
Locate the team member whose status you want to update.
Based on their current status, select one of the following:
Tap Clock In if the team member is not currently clocked in.
Tap Clock Out if the team member is already clocked in.
The change takes effect immediately and is reflected in their timecard.
Important Note
When an admin or manager clocks in/out for a team member:
Location data is not recorded
The entry is marked with an “M” icon to indicate that it was added manually
