Updated over 3 weeks ago

Atto makes it easy to manage pay rates for your team — whether you’re applying a standard hourly rate or setting up job-specific compensation. Here’s how to set them up and manage them effectively.

Adding a Default Pay Rate

You can add a default hourly rate using either the mobile app or web version.

On Mobile:

  1. Go to Settings > Pay Rate

  2. Select the team member

  3. Make sure Pay Rate Tracking is enabled

  4. Tap + Add Default Pay Rate

  5. Enter the hourly rate and effective date

  6. Tap Add Pay Rate to save

On Web:

  1. Go to Settings > Manage Team

  2. Select the team member

  3. Enable the Pay Rate toggle

  4. Click Add Pay Rate

  5. Enter the hourly rate and effective date

  6. Click Add Pay Rate to confirm

📌 A list of all added default pay rates will be displayed, showing hourly rates and effective dates for full visibility.

Adding a Job-Specific Pay Rate (Mobile Only)

Job-specific rates can currently only be added via the mobile app.

  1. Open the team member’s Pay Rate settings

  2. Tap Add Job Pay Rate

  3. Select a Job Code

  4. Enter the hourly rate and start date

  5. Tap Add Pay Rate to confirm

📌 This rate will apply to all time entries associated with that job code from the selected date forward.

📌 You’ll see a full list of job pay rates for that user, including job code names, rates, and effective dates.

Edit or Delete Pay Rates

You can modify or remove any pay rate as needed.

  • To Edit: Click on the pay rate, make changes, then click “Save”

  • To Delete: Select “Delete Pay Rate” or “Delete Job Pay Rate” depending on the type
