Tap Add Pay Rate to confirm
On Web:

📌 Once added, all default pay rates will be listed with their start dates for full visibility.
📌 A default pay rate must be set before you can assign job-specific pay rates.
Understanding Job Codes and Job-Specific Pay Rates
Job Codes help you categorize the type of work performed - such as fieldwork, office duties, or project-based tasks.
Job-Specific Pay Rates are custom hourly rates tied to those job codes, allowing you to pay team members differently based on the task they complete.
When used together, they ensure compensation is tied directly to the actual work performed — improving payroll accuracy and cost tracking.
Adding Job-Specific Pay Rates (Mobile Only)
Job-specific pay rates can currently only be added using the mobile app.
To add a job-specific rate:
Open the team member’s Pay Rate settings
Tap Add Job Pay Rate
Choose a Job Code
Enter the hourly rate and effective date
Tap Add Pay Rate to confirm
📌 Job pay rates are listed under the team member’s profile with their job code, rate, and effective date.
Editing or Deleting Pay Rates
You can update or remove any pay rate as needed.
Edit a Rate:
Tap or click on the listed rate
Adjust the details
Save the changes
Delete a Rate:
Select the rate
Choose Delete Pay Rate or Delete Job Pay Rate
📌 Each rate entry shows the effective date and value for full transparency.
Additional Notes
• A default pay rate must be added before assigning job-specific rates.
• Job codes cannot share the same effective date for a single user.
• Admins cannot view each other’s assigned rates for privacy and compliance.
Why Pay Rate Management Matters
• Accurate Payroll – Ensure every time entry reflects the correct compensation
• Transparency – Keep a clear overview of rates by date and job
• Flexibility – Adapt pay based on responsibilities, contracts, or performance
• Job-Based Tracking – Use Job Codes to link compensation to the type of work done
