Department Setup & Management

Atto’s Departments feature helps you organize your team by roles, projects, or work areas — making it easier to manage your workforce and generate department-specific reports.


How to Enable Departments

  1. Go to Settings > Departments

  2. Toggle “Departments” ON


Add a New Department

  1. Go to Settings > Departments

  2. Click “Add New Department”

  3. Enter the name of the department

  4. Click “Add” to save


Add Team Members to a Department

  1. Go to Settings > Departments

  2. Select the department

  3. Click “Add Members”

  4. Choose team members from the list

  5. Click “Add Members”

| 📌 Note: A team member can only belong to one department at a time.


Remove Team Members from a Department

  1. Go to Settings > Departments

  2. Select the department

  3. Tap “Edit” and remove members from the list


Remove a Department

  1. Go to Settings > Departments

  2. Tap “Edit” and select the department you want to delete

| Once removed, any members assigned to that department will be moved to the default “No Department” list.


Why Use Departments?

Organizing your team into departments helps you:

  • Improve internal structure

  • Assign responsibilities clearly

  • Generate department-specific reports for better insights
