Managing Notification Preferences

Updated over a month ago

Atto’s notification system is built to keep Managers and Admins updated in real time. You can customize alerts based on your role, preferences, and team setup — helping you stay informed and coordinated, whether you’re managing on-site or remotely.

Who Can Manage Notifications

Only Managers and Admins have access to team notification settings. This ensures that alerts are used for efficient oversight and not overloaded across the team.

Team Activity Notifications

Enable alerts to stay up to date when a team member:

  • Clocks in

  • Clocks out

  • Takes a break

  • Modifies a time card

Shift Notifications (New)

Stay informed about schedule updates:

  • Newly published shifts

  • Updates to existing shifts (modifications or reschedules)

Time Off Notifications (New)

Receive updates when team members:

  • Submit new time-off requests

  • Have their time-off requests approved, rejected, or modified

Personal Notification Preferences

As a Manager or Admin, you can tailor your own notification experience with:

  • Time Clock & Job Site Reminders – Personal alerts to clock in/out or based on job site arrival

  • Days Selection – Choose specific days to receive notifications

  • Extended Time Alerts – Be notified when you or a team member exceed expected work hours

  • Shift Start/End Reminders – Set reminders before the shift begins or ends

  • Elapsed Time Alerts – Get notified if a shift runs longer than expected

How to Manage Notification Preferences

  1. Go to Settings in your Atto app

  2. Tap on Notifications

  3. Enable or disable alerts based on your preferences

| You can revisit and adjust these settings at any time.

Why It Matters

By setting the right notification preferences, you can:

• Stay aligned with your team’s daily activity

• React quickly to shift changes or time-off requests

• Maintain visibility across teams — especially when working remotely
