Keeping accurate time records in Atto starts with the right time zone settings. Here’s how Atto helps you stay synchronized — automatically or with a fixed setup, depending on your preference.


Automatic Time Zone Synchronization

Atto automatically aligns your time zone with your device for effortless time tracking.

  • Quick Setup: Your account’s time zone is set based on your device’s time zone — no manual configuration needed.

  • Stay in Sync: To keep everything accurate, make sure automatic time zone updates are enabled on your device.

| This is ideal for teams that travel or work across different locations. Time entries and reports will always reflect the correct local time.


Setting a Fixed Time Zone for Your Account

Prefer to keep things consistent across your team, regardless of where they are? You can set a fixed time zone for the entire account.

To set a fixed time zone:

  1. Go to Settings > Time Options

  2. Enable Fixed Time Zone

  3. Search and select your preferred time zone

  4. Tap Save to confirm

| Once set, all time entries across your account will be recorded in this fixed time zone — no matter where team members clock in.


Choosing What Works for You

Atto gives you the flexibility to:

  • Auto-sync with device settings for mobile teams

  • Or use a Fixed Time Zone for centralized, consistent reporting

Whichever option you choose, your timesheet data stays clean, accurate, and aligned.
