How to import new employees from QuickBooks Online

You can easily add new employees to your QuickBooks Online & Atto integration and sync their timesheets through our simple 2-step process.

If you invite employees through Atto, they won’t be added to QuickBooks Online. Instead, please add or edit employees on QuickBooks Online first, then import them to Atto by following the steps below:

  1. In the web app, click on the QuickBooks Online logo, found in the header menu
  2. From the dropdown, select Import
  3. In the corresponding field, enter the employee’s email address
  4. Click on Import to add them
  5. They will receive an invite email from Atto and automatically sync to QuickBooks Online as soon as they create their Atto account.
NOTE: If you’ve already added the employee to Atto, simply match the employee from your QuickBooks Online account to the correct employee in Atto.
