How to create and manage job codes

Job codes are a great way to allocate time tracked to specific purposes. When you add job codes to your account, they will be listed and available to your entire team.

To add a new job code:
  1. Go to Settings > Job Codes
  2. Click on Add Job Code
  3. Enter a name for the job code
  4. Click on Add
To delete a job code:
  1. Go to Settings > Job Codes
  2. On mobile, tap on Edit and delete the unwanted job codes from the list
NOTE: Deleted job codes will still be listed in the team member’s time entries and reports from previous time periods.
To edit a job code:
  1. Go to Settings > Job Codes
  2. Click on Edit or the Pen icon
  3. Edit the job code's name
  4. Click on Done or Save Changes
NOTE: The job code name will change in all existing time entries
To further assist with accurate time tracking, you can require your users to select a job code as soon as they clock in. To enable this feature:
  1. Go to Settings > Job Codes
  2. Turn “Require Jobs on Clock In” ON.
