How to create and manage job codes

Job codes are a great way to allocate time tracked to specific purposes. When you add job codes to your account, they will be listed and available to your entire team.

To add a new job code:
  1. Go to Settings > Jobs
  2. Select “Add Job Code”
  3. Enter a name for the job code
  4. Click “Add Job Code”
To delete a job code:
  1. Go to Settings > Jobs
  2. Tap on edit and select the job codes from the list
NOTE: The deleted job code will still be listed in the team member’s time entries and reports from previous time periods. If you deleted a job code by accident, please contact us at support@attotime.com to restore it.
To edit a job code:
  1. Go to Settings > Jobs
  2. Click on the job code
  3. Enter the edited name for the job code
  4. Click “Save Changes”
NOTE: The job code name will change in all existing time entries
You can require your users to select a job code as soon as they clock in. To enable this feature:
  1. Go to Settings > Jobs
  2. Turn “Require Jobs on Clock In” ON.
